From October 18 through November 13, Women's Ministry is selling Chinook Books to raise funds for the Women's Retreat and other activities. Purchase the book for $20 or the App for $10, or both for just $25, from the OCEC lobby on Sundays. Using only a few coupons will "zero out" your cost. These make great birthday, thank you and holiday gifts, as they keep on giving, and can be used through October 21, 2012. Teens and young adults will especially love the mobile version.
The Chinook Book
Chinook Book holds more than 450 offers from the best green and local merchants in Portland and surrounding areas. Go to http://pdx.chinookbook.net to review this year's coupons for dining, local grocery, travel and recreation, fashion and gifts, home and garden, wellness, and entertainment.
Cost
The cost for the Chinook Book is only $20 for the print version or $10 for the mobile App version, or $25 for both when purchased at the same time. Up to three family members can draw on the mobile coupons.
App Option
If you prefer not using paper coupons, "there's an App for that!" This year, if you have a smart phone (IPhone or Android), you can purchase the mobile version and download and use it at the vendor sites. Cost is $10 for the App. Note: Grocery item coupons (92 of them) have a UPC code that must be returned to the manufacturer, therefore·are not included in the mobile App. To see how this works, visit http://pdx.chinookbook.net/mobile/.
Buy early and start enjoying the savings! If you have any questions, contact Sandra Schaeffer at 503-650-6513.
The OCEC Women's Ministry Fall Retreat will be held Nov. 18 and 19. Come hear Corinne Stanley share about "The Feasts of Yaweh." You will learn how important these festivals are. God is wanting to move us to the place where He can teach us unforgettable lessons for the time we live in. He wants to break us down in order to teach us the journey of intimacy with Him.
