ACTS - Action, Compassion, Truth & Sacrifice
We believe that God calls all who follow Him to do works of service so that the entire body of Christ will grow in maturity, unity, and Christ-like character. Jesus Christ has commissioned the church, and its individual parts, to go into the world to share the Good News and help people come into God's family through faith in Him.
Together these concepts lead the church to serve "outside the walls" in order to share the love of Christ through human relationship and care, meeting the needs of the community around us in the name of Christ, and expanding the Kingdom of God on earth for the glory of Christ...
...ACTS will help OCEC fulfill God's purposes of sharing His love through action in our local communities.
Our ACTS verse is James 2:17 "In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, if dead."

It is time for our 2nd annual March Madness food drive! Each Sunday of March we will be collecting a different type of food. This week is Sweet Sixteen Soup & Chili! All donations go to the Oregon City HOPE food pantry which distributes the food to families in need, right here in Oregon City.

We're thankful for our amazingly generous church family. Today we were able to bless 25 families with a Thanksgiving meal.....wooo hoooo!! Thank you to everyone who donated their time, food, and money to make this possible. Your ACTS were very much appreciated! =)

Join us this season and help local families in need. We are now accepting food donations for Thanksgiving food boxes (or cash donations if you prefer). Please bring canned, boxed and packaged food to the food barrels located outside the sanctuary! If you have a turkey to donate, contact Carol Glenn so it can be kept frozen. 503-655-3190

Our Serve Saturday is coming up August 18th. We'll be focusing a lot of our efforts this year on improving our local schools due to all the school changes and transitions. Stay tuned for more info!
