We will be starting our new study called, "Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed" the second week in January. This is a study on the life of David and will be taught by three different teachers. David's younger years will be taught by Priscilla Shirer, his middle age years by Beth Moore, and his older years by Kay Arthur.
The Sunday WOW meets at 8:15 am in the Fellowship Center starting on Jan. 8. The Tuesday WOW meets at 9:00 am also in the Fellowship Center starting on Jan. 10. The Wednesday WOW meets at 7:00 pm starting on Jan. 11 in Room D-4. This is a 13 week study.
The books are $13 and will be on sale on Jan. 8 and Jan. 15 at Grand Central in the church lobby. Books may also be purchased at the study group.

"Becoming a Woman of Simplicity"
The Women of the Word (WOW) group will be doing a study by Cynthia Heald called, "Becoming a Woman of Simplicity". It is an 11-week study that begins the week of September 18, 2011.
There are three class times to select from: Sunday mornings 8:15 - 9:30 a.m., Tuesday mornings 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., or Wednesday nights 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Registration will begin on September 4 at Grand Central booth in the lobby of the church. The books will be $7.00.
This is a quote from the book to give a little idea about this study:
"A single-minded devotion to Christ is the fundamental principle of this study. My concern is that we live in a world where doing, communicating, and processing so rule our lives that we have allowed even good things to overtake our time and distract from the best. The purpose of this study is not to show you how to downsize, declutter or say no to everything. The purpose is to encourage you to live a life the way God has planned for you. I think His way is one of inner peace and rest in the midst of a complex and busy world. My definition of a woman of simplicity is one who lives a God-paced life. She waits for God's leading, and she has the time to be still and know her Lord. She has a deep abiding rest in her spirit. She is a woman of profound simplicity because she has only one focus: being simply and purely devoted to Christ." --Cynthia Heald

We invite you to participate in our WOW bible study. It is a wonderful time to learn about the Word of God and how to apply it to our lives, have fellowship, and pray together as women. We want you to know it is a safe place for you to come - a place where you are loved and accepted.
The study lasts from September through May. There are three different group meeting times to choose from. Each group meets only once a week. Meeting times: Tuesday mornings (9 - 11 a.m.), or Wednesday evenings (7 - 8:30 p.m.), or Sunday mornings (8:15 - 9:30 a.m.).
The study is made up of videos and discussion time. Once you are registered, you are placed with a small group of women that meet at the church for discussion. To join a study, we ask that you register in advance. The study materials are provided for a small fee at registration.
