Greetings from the streets of Portland, OR! I have slipped away from the hard working students to upload pics of them working hard to prove to their parents that it can be done! We have had some amazing days of ministry and work so far and look forward to what today and tomorrow hold. Currently, the students are working on the projects that they started at City Team--mostly painting--and a good number of them are praying through the streets of Portland and handing out bags of love. Keep us in your prayers please--a few of us are not feeling well (me included) and we need continued energy to serve wholeheartedly.

As I've written this, Roger, shelter manager at City Team, just came in and told me that his wife accepted Jesus today on her deathbed. Praise the Lord! She is dying of cancer, struggling with addiction and Roger is faithfully caring for her. Pray for them both during this time.
